Go Vote!

Vote for Barack Obama

Everyone, don’t forget to vote today! Let’s make history!

Carvin some squash

Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin carving is one of those things you kinda stop doing once you “grow up”, unfortunately. But we had a blast last night with friends, who threw a pumpkin carving party. There was a Gremlin, a Gargoyle, the Count (from Sesame Street), and a couple weird ones that I did.

Vote for Change

Vote Barack Obama

I am supporting Obama.

I am supporting him because I am sickened by what movement conservatism has wrought on our country. I am sickened by the smears, lies, and outright racism from the right. I am tired of the delusional belief that free markets work, and that attempting to help the less fortunate is tantamount to communism. I am sick of progressives being labeled "out of touch" when in reality a large proportion of America believes in things like universal healthcare, higher living wages, reducing income inequality, affordable higher education, and government investment in our infrastructure, from roads and bridges to overhauling bureaucracies like the DMV and the Post Office.

Please, to all my American friends, I beseech you to support Barack Obama on November 4th. We need to send a message that will no longer roll over and let the forces of anti-intellectualism, homophobia, racism, greed, and socialism for the rich at the expense of the middle class run our country into the ground.

We were proud of America once, with good reason. It’s time to be proud again, and rebuild our great country.

Vote November 4th.

Parking Garage series

A new project - Parking Garage series

I’m hoping to develop this into a larger series. There’s quite a bit of post processing work involved in these, obviously. It’s pretty tricky finding a parking garage that’s clean and has good (i.e. non-sodium vapor) lighting - I find sodium vaps are way too yellow, and don’t emit enough of the spectrum to really get a neutral image, even with filters.
