Smashing Magazine Check out Smashing Magazine’s article 60 Beautiful Examples Of Night Photography - I’m in there a few times. I’m a big fan of Smashing Magazine - their web design articles are always great, and they do a lot of great “aggregator” posts (like this one) that bring in the best of a particular subject. Check out their popular posts - there are great free fonts and design resources as well as photography.

Well, this here blog's been a bit neglected lately, but with good reason - on Friday I'll be tying the knot with Jade here in Santa Barbara. We've been busy with preparations for the wedding, which will stretch on through Sunday and a second celebration in Orange County. We've also been planning for our 3 week honeymoon in Costa Rica, which starts next week!

Before I go I wanted to post a couple links to places my work has been featured lately. First off, one of my photos from Burning Man appears in the latest issue of Sierra Magazine - they did an interesting write-up about environmental issues at Burning Man. My "Bone Tree" image appears on the second page of the on line article, as well as in the printed magazine:

Burning Man Bone Tree

Also today Web Urbanist did a write-up about light graffiti artists, and kindly included my light painting work in the article. You can read the article here - check it out, there is some very good work featured there.

Well, this will probably be the last post for a few weeks. Should have some great photos to post when I return!

Street Art and the War on Terror

I was browsing Urban Outfitters the other day and found the book I was featured in, right next to Banksy's book! I recently received my copy - it's a fantastic collection of anti-war art, proof positive of the strength of anti-war and anti-empire sentiment around the world. I am proud to do my part to uphold the American tradition of dissent and rebellion, especially nowadays, when most have forgotten to care.
