Berlin I

Here a couple shots from Berlin. We had a wonderful Christmas, with a bit of a surprise - Jade and I got engaged! I asked her on Christmas eve after we exchanged presents. Afterwards my little sister Julia got the whole family to dance around in circles. Good times.

Goleta Pier, Lubitel

Took the Lubitel out to Goleta Beach to shoot the pier at night. Fuji Acros 100, most exposures are 2 minutes @ f/6.7.

An Oldie from Burning Man

Here's an old one from the first time I went to Burning Man (2002). It's not retouched - these people were actually day-glo, hurt-your-eyes red!

Knapp’s Castle, Night

Couple long exposures from tonight. Went up to Knapp's Castle in the hills over Santa Barbara. It was an old mansion that burned down 80 or 90 years ago, and is now just stone ruins. I shot some film as well - some square black and white medium format stuff on the Lubitel. Can't wait to see how that worked....
